Did you know there are over 250 different types of pumpkins? All with a slightly different taste and texture. Two of the best types for making scrumptious pumpkin pies are Sugars and Pams. They are naturally sweeter and have the perfect consistency for baking an award winning pumpkin pie!
It's easier than you think!
Quarter the pumpkin and remove seeds (You can roast these later).
Bake pumpkin quarters on baking sheet at 350 degrees for about 45min
Remove skins
Place chunks of pumpkin in food processor or blender on puree
Use puree and follow your favorite pumpkin pie recipe!
